About the Piece
I really wanted to push myself creatively with this piece. It is so easy to lose sight of your own intuition when you are trying to perfect each painting. But sometimes you just have to let yourself go and allow the creative voice inside of you say what it wants. In this piece I wanted to bring out a whimsical feeling, adapting motifs of mushrooms.
Originally painted using mixed media.
Printed using archival inks on heavyweight matte fine art paper.
