About the Piece
Being from Newfoundland, I am no stranger of harsh winters, a shortage of food, and the struggle of living through the difficulties of life. During these hard times we have always found comfort in the small delicacies that we did have. Tin of Joy is the recognition that some of our favourite foods have deep histories in allowing us to thrive. Tinned Mussels have always been a favourite of mine.
