My art is the expression of trying to understand life and to see the beauty in every aspect of it. When somebody looks at my art, I want them to get lost in the colours and see something beautiful. Whether that painting is of a bumblebee, or inspired by something much more macabre, I want to remind people that there is beauty in every aspect of life.
I have been creating art ever since I could remember. From the very beginning, there was a desire and need within me to create and share works of art with those around me. First it started with illustrations and comics, but this inspired my younger self to always want to express a feeling or emotion, and a desire to express new ideas through art.
My inspiration comes from a deep desire to express myself and how I view the world around me. I believe deeply that life is always worth living, and is a beautiful experience. And because of that belief, I want to express the beauty and fixation on darker themes and more unusual settings. I want to help people see how beautiful every aspect of their life is, even the parts we don’t necessarily want to shine a light to.
I want to spread joy with my pieces, and for people to see something of themselves in the piece.
