About the Piece

An Enduring Warmth is a piece about hope. I painted it during a very isolating time in my life, and I felt lost. The forests with rolling fog tell the story of that isolation. But despite it being dark, and you may not feel all too alive, you still have warmth in knowing that despite the darkness and obscuring fog, you can still see the light of the moon. As long as you keep moving forward towards the horizon, you know you will make it out.
