Sweet Honey is the first of Devon’s Bumblebee series, and originally painting on wood with oils. All prints are printed on high quality artist matte paper.
About the Series
The Bumblebee Series is a love letter to bees, and nature as a whole. Devon has many memories as a child playing outside in the Labrador Woods and exploring nature. Despite having an intense fear of being stung, Devon never feared bumblebees. Rather, he spent many hours laying in the grass, watching bees fly from one flower to the next.
To Devon, Bumblebees represent how beautiful and intricate nature is. And Devon could not help but share the joy he feels when he looks at a bumblebee.
